Plug-in works great except for one thing: I can add pictures to my media library and posts with no issue but any time I try to use the “attach image” function of USP I always get this error, regardless of whether it’s a .jpg or a .jpeg or a .png, etc.:

“Error: File type not allowed (please upload images only)”

Which version of the plugin are you using?

Hmm, it could be that something (plugin, theme, htaccess, etc) could be interfering with normal functionality. I would check that all the upload settings (file size, etc) are as required and then make sure the image meets all of the specifications.

I just tried it with an image I know should work (it’s the header image for the site) and the maximum pixel dimensions are cranked to 10,000 for width and height; stull got an error. Hmmm.

Yeah it sounds like something else is interfering.. on a default/new WP install you can see that there is no such error for allowed file types when all settings are met.
