I have installed the plugin, and added my API Key to the media setting page, but I can’t connect to the API. I get this message on the media settings page:

    API connection unsuccessful

I have confirmed that my server has cURL enabled.
    What am i missing?

    Thanks

Unfortunately the error reporting is not very helpful here. But you can find out what goes wrong by attempting to compress one image. You can do this by going to your media library and hitting “Compress” on one of your images, or uploading a new one. You should see a more descriptive message. Can you see what the reported error is?

    Hi,

Any information on the error message?
    Thanks!

Unfortunately I was not getting any error messages.

I think I realized what was happening though. I was testing this on my staging server which is protected by HTTP AUTH.

When I tried on my my production server, everything was fine.

    Thanks
