How to add date in posts

    Hi, I want to add the date of the post after the H1 post title, both in the HomePage and inside the single post. I think I know the right place to put it the sentence, but I can’t find the right function to show it. Should I use the_date or any other one?

    i mean there’s already post meta like author, date and comment count show in each post.
