    Great, thanks!!
Where do you put it? Because there is no ‘language’ folder and I just see an original pot file at the wp-poll folder. When I put it in there, I don’t see any changes.

    Hi,

Put the files in these two places:

    1. The root of the plugin where the .pot file is (it sounds like you already did that) but remember to put both the .po and .mo files there. At least put the .mo file there, just the .po file will do no good. The .mo file is the compiled one that will be interpreted by WordPress!

    2. Put both files here as well: <your-web-root>/wp-content/languages/plugins/. That location is sort of a back-up location so that your language files are not deleted in case the plugin is updated but does not contain the language files in question.

If those tips does not work for you then I dont really know why, because that works for me.

    Good Luck!

    Thanks for the answer!
It works, but just at the backend, the widget text remains english. Any idea why? But don’t mind, would just create a new topic about that if not

Hey, Yes maybe it’s best to start a new topic. But a tip. Download PoEdit, that way you can examine and update the .po and .mo files yourself: http://poedit.net/.

If those files are in order, then it’s just a matter of placing them in the correct location. And if that does not work, then it means that the plugin author has not fully implemented the language file thingie..

You need to restore the template. WP-Admin -> Polls -> Poll Templates, and restore all the templates
