Can I please get a solution for this? Can’t edit, can’t put new galleries/images…
@dharmawebstudio – We are not the author of the “voting” plugin so I cannot say specifically what may or may not happen to that data.
As it is, please start with changing your WordPress Permalinks from the “Default” to something such as “Post name” or “Month and name” as much better alternatives.
If you still see issues, try following the steps outlined in this article: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting
Thanks!

Thanks, but unfortunately changing the permalinks didn’t help…
My NextGen galleries have stopped working as well. I’m guessing: after the recent wordpress update to 4.2.1?
@micksp – Please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.

@dharmawebstudio – Have you tried following the steps outlined in this article: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting

Well I have tried everything that is, to my knowledge, logical to try. I’m not new in WP.
I have deactivated and reactivated NGG plugin, and tried with deactivating NGG Voting plugin.
Plugin is normally installed and it was working for months without any problem until last update.
I could try with deleting and reinstalling the NGG plugin but I must not lose all the galleries I have.
Ik, I have dectivated the plugin called Lightbox Plus Colorbox, and it seems that NGG is now working…
But why can’t I have both?
Anyway the main thing is that NGG is now working.
Thanks.
@dharmawebstudio By any chance do you use WPML for translations in your website?
I was having the same problem and while debugging with Firebug I saw that a javascript error WPML (“pagenow not defined”) was blocking JS execution in the pop up.
After upgrading to the last version 3.1.9.7 the problem went away and the Attach NextGen Gallery pop-up got visible back again.
Hope this could help.
@dharmawebstudio – Thanks for the updates.

@webartisan – Thanks for sharing!

@webartisan – Yes I use WPML… Didn’t try updating it yet, so that could also be the case. Thanks.
@dharmawebstudio – We always recommend staying up-to-date with all active plugins, your current theme, and especially WordPress core itself.
Thanks!
