    Hello,

We use Jigoshop as our ecommerce solution for WordPress sites. Recently, we’ve moved our sites over to WP Engine (which has been great!). If we have the sites enabled to capture orders (sometimes we use Jigoshop just for inputing products, but have the checkout process turned off), they would transfer over as broken. This ended up being a conflict with WP Engine’s caching solution and Jigoshop’s caching solution.

I was able to complete the migration because, on the version of Jigoshop I had, I was able to turn off the shopping caching through the settings. This made the two systems play nice along each other. However, in the most recent updates of Jigoshop, this setting has been removed and appears to be enabled all the time. So, if I upgrade Jigoshop on any of our migrated sites now, they will break.

It seems I can work out a solution with WP Engine to get this working on their end, but I figured it would still be a good thing to bring up here. Is there a particular reason why the option was removed? Was it moved elsewhere? Can it be added back? I just want to know what I can do to avoid conflicts, but still keep our sites up to date, secure, and running fast.

    Thank you!

    Hi acktacky,

Jigoshop Web Optimization System was removed from Jigoshop, becouse we are going to publish our external caching plugin.

So at this moment there is no caching in Jigoshop.
