Menu items don't link

    I am new to WordPress and just trying to convert an old site over to WP. The WP version is not live – I am just working on it “behind the scenes.”

    I have a menu set up, but none of the links click through when I “View Site.” If I test out other themes, including the one I’m currently using, the links do work. Why don’t the links work when I click the “View Site” link in the dashboard?

    there is save button on menu page, please click that and save your menu structure before trying out on live website

    No, that doesn’t work. I get the pointer, like the link is clickable. The link is there, but it doesn’t work when I “view site.” Like I mentioned, they do work when I preview themes..?
