Google Calendar Events plugin not working

    The Google Calendar Events plugins allows you to use widgets that display calendar information.

    Recent versions of the Google Calendar Events plugin (such as 2.2.5) do not seem to work with the Oxygen theme. The same version works with the Twenty Fifteen theme.

    Earlier versions of the Google Calendar Events plugin do work with the Oxygen theme.

    Any advice on how to investigate this issue would be appreciated.
