I am using WP eCommerce 3.9.1 and the Lookshop theme.

In my WP e-Commerce product pages, when clicking on “Add to Cart” the area on the top right that lets a user know that an item is in their cart is empty. The item does get added to the cart. The item can be seen in the cart only after clicking another link, viewing the cart, or refreshing the page.

It does this for all pages on the site.

I’ve tried uninstall and reinstall and I still get the same issue.

    Here is the page:

  • There maybe a jQuery conflict. Have you tried deactivating all plugins that did not come with the theme? I tried to clear the cart and that would not work. Also on the single product page clicking add to cart it would just spin.

Is this issue resolved? How did you resolve it?

We resolved this issue by disabling Google Fonts (it’s a secure site and the updates wanted them to be secure as well), setting the correct permissions for files and folders (the updates were trying to access files and folders that they couldn’t), and by updating the core and every plugin one by one. Once finished with the updates, Google Fonts were re-enabled. RESOLVED!!!!
