Just Basic Thumbnails are working

Hello,

since my initial installation of NGGAllery I’ve got some troubles with displaying different kind of galleries.

so there is just the “basic” gallery working fine (thumbnails, if you click on the image fancybox is opening it)

all other kind of galleries, like carousel are not working. If i click on a image link, the link is “invalid” and the homepage of my installation is shown.

i already tried to exclude all ngg-js from wp-minify, but that doesn’t help.

do you have any kind of idea, whats wrong with my setup?

@sknig – Many “minify” plugins actually break NextGEN Gallery … have you tried deactivating *all* of your plugins and then reactivating NextGEN Gallery only to see if this helps with the issue at hand?

Also, have you tried following the steps outlined in this article: http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting

ok, deactivated minify, caching, and allmost everything else. But it still dont work.

The FAQ link is great, but as i don’t know what im looking for its quite hard so search. All belonging issues i found just appeared 2 years before, or there was no reply.

links like this http://der-koenig-kocht.de/nggallery/image/a-jpg?p=1681 are leading to the homepage. – Maybe something wrong with the mod_rewrite?

@sknig – Have you tried setting your WordPress Permalinks to something like “Post name” or “Month and name”?

mhm, due to SEO reasons i’m going to avoid changes in my Permlink structure.

No other options available?

argh.. i dont know why this “public preview” plugin is not working atm.

@sknig – Pretty much any URL with &preview in its address will not display correctly via WordPress … I do not know what “public preview” plugin you are referring to but that could also be causing issues with NextGEN Gallery displays as well.
