Hi K can you share your URL.
Hi, thanks for responding…
http://holiday-connections.com/
FYI…I have set the slider on the Home page to 5 slides in the slide(show) for demo purposes.
The max width is set at 2070 and the height at 200 (Any alteration to these makes no difference btw).
[The site is in development thus I really need to put ‘maintenance mode’ back on as soon as possible.]
I tried switching all my plugins off (and just re-activated Slideshow) and it seemed to work ok for a few seconds but then defaulted back to the glitch.
Many thanks for helping.
K
FYI – I’ve placed the slider at the bottom of the home page…
Hi K,
Some stylesheet files were missing when the latest version of the slideshow plugin was released and because of this, you’re missing some of the slideshow’s stylesheet files as well.
Reinstalling the slideshow plugin should solve your problem.
Best regards,
Stefan
Thank you Stefan, that has indeed fixed it!
Very kind of you to have assisted me personally and so speedily.
Have a great weekend.
Kindest regards,
Kevin
Hi Kevin that is great news 🙂
Can you mark this support thread as resolved.
Thank you
Of course…once again, many thanks.
Kevin
Hello, this is happening to me too. Is there a way to reinstall the plug-in without losing/deleting all my current slideshows? Thanks!
Nevermind. I’m dumb. I figured it out.
Hi
This is what I did to resolve the problem…
1. Firstly I deactivated the plugin in WordPress admin interface
2. Then I downloaded the plugin again from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/
3. Then I went to file manager in my Plesk/C Panel at my host site and clicked on ‘upload’ file and chose the correct location to upload the downloaded plugin zip file to i.e. my site > wp-content > plugins
4. Then I deleted the old slideshow plugin file
5. Then I ‘extracted’ the zip file…the new slideshow plugin files appear as before…
6. Then I went back to WordPress and reactivated the slideshow plugin…and all my slide shows were still there and in tact.
Hope this helps and it makes sense!
Best wishes,
Kevin
