Oh, Any site. I tried several, mostly news websites and I only get the pop up window with no quote , no title, no link.
Hm, that’s odd. And you do swear that you tried it with absolutely all browser extensions disabled, including ad blockers?
No extensions, no ad blockers.
There was a similar situation with Press This some years back and had to do with the way the code was written. People actually had to edit it…(pipes?) and it worked.
Press This Reloaded came out and there were no more issues with any version of WordPress….till now.
Are you currently trying to use Press This Reloaded, and not the default Press This included with WordPress?
I’ve just tried Press This on multiple websites without issue, and out of 2.5 million downloads so far https://wordpress.org/download/counter/ yours is the only such report I have seen.

I do not understand why it says resolved for this issue. I have never been able to use Press This and I continue to do so. I get ERRO 403.
Hi, I have the same problem. After updating ‘Press This’ stopped working. Window opens when I hit the ‘Press This’ bookmark but neither the headline nor the selected text appears. Worked fine before the update. I am using the latest version of Safari.

Hi, I have tested on my site, and I also got 403.
In my case, that was WAF setting of my hosting.
Workaround for my environment was to add the following line to .htaccess.
SiteGuard_User_ExcludeSig url-php-rfi
“url-php-rfi” part was detected signature of WAF.
