Can't upload images

    On at least one of my WordPress instances, I am unable to upload any images.

    The progress bar progresses most of the way and then just hangs. If I don’t get impatient I might eventually get a red box saying an error occurred. It gives me no clue what error and no error appears in my server logs.

    So I have no clue. How do I even find out what the problem is?

    Still not working with version 4.2.2. Looking around, I found the browser uploader option. It ends in a white screen of death at https://parts-unknown.org/wp/wp-admin/media-new.php . But still nothing is logged anywhere, not in the web server logs and not, as near as I can tell, in WordPress’ PHP log.

    I could really use some help here.

    Yes. This is a 3TB disk that is about 30 percent full.
