    Hi there

As Google have announced that they will favour homepages that have a mobile version i checked up on my own homepage and realized, that due to some tinkering of the layout, i might have done so that the mobile version is looking strange.

    My homepage: http://www.aktie-skat.dk

When you first enter the homepage it looks as if it is fit for mobile, however the text is (content) as MUCH wider than what fits the screen.

Could it be because if have manually set the Width in “px” in the style.css ?

    Hi

Well i have already (manually) changed the Width for the header and content to 1100px, and i’m wondering if that is why the Mobile layout looks so weird.

Here are links to 2 screenshots i have taken with my mobile, which shows the problem.

As you can see by the “change of color/line in the middle” that is where the homepage should “end”, but it actually spands much further (wider) than that.

    Any help?

    Further, and quite confusing info:
I tried testing the site for being “google-mobile-friendly”, and i ended with following (odd) results:

    http://www.aktie-skat.dk is mobile friendly
    aktie-skat.dk is mobile friendly
    http://aktie-skat.dk is NOT mobile friendly.

How come 1 of 3 turns out NOT mobile friendly, because i test is with the “http://” – do you know that, does it help you, or should I ask Google?

    Update:
After a LONG time of trial-and-error in my style.css I’ve found the error. I had given the #content element a Width of 1100px, and this caused the trouble.

However i had given the #content element a fixed Width to use box-shadow, which I’ve already asked about in here before. Therefore I would like to ask if you possibly could look into my other ticket, which havent been resolved: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/box-shadow-2?replies=3

Hope to hear from anyone 🙂
