Hi knitserene,
We are aware of that issue. We will release the update shortly.
Excellent news!
Thank youThe query title shows that this has been resolved but I’m still not able to set the Feature Image for our individual Products.
Seven hours ago I was assured that an update taking care of this problem would be released shortly.
Is there an estimate of the time frame when it will be fixed? I need to alert my customers if the pre-announced update of our products can’t take place at the designated time.
Thank you,
WandaHi Wanda,
I’m sorry for a delay. new update is in UA testing phase. If now issues are found it should be release in less than 5 hours.

I am new to Jigoshop and am trying to get used to it before going live.
Prior to finding this thread I had assumed it was something I had done so deleted paid for plug-ins, deleted and rebuilt database and WordPress. Still the same problem.
I have stumbled upon this thread and would also like to know how things are progressing with the update.
Many thanks
G
Hi all,
problem was resolved, but it wasn’t released on WordPress for some reason.
Please download software from following link:
https://github.com/jigoshop/jigoshop/archive/master.zipand upload jigoshop.php to your website.. that is the only file that has been modified.
It’s good you found this thread. Don’t let this temporary (we hope!) issue put you off on using Jigoshop. It has great features that you can adapt to your needs, and seems to handle well huge bursts of buyers.
Thanks for resolving the problem.
I’ve downloaded the software but don’t know how to upload it to the website.
Sorry for my ignorance here. I’ve always just used the Plug-in updates or have my webmaster – who’s not available, do the inner workings.knitserene,
if you have access to the server where the website is hosted then you can unzip all the files and upload to wp-content/plugins/jigoshop/ one file jigoshop.php
If you are unsure of how to do it, please wait until we release 1.17.2
Thank you for relying with this info, Paul.
It’s reassuring to know that a new release is in the works as I’m pretty hopeless at the nuts and bolts. I have access to the server but am at sea on how/where to upload the files, with your info I’ll explore and see if I can work through this.Any idea of a projected 1.17.2 release time?
15 minutes… I have just received a confirmation…
Hello Wanda and Paul,
No I won’t let it put me off. I’m actually impressed at how quick the problem was identified and rectified. I have it all working now and can continue to test and, hopefully, have some fun 🙂
Wanda you will need to access the folders with the files in on the server. It only needs the one file placed into a folder. Do you have any software to FTP files to the server? If you do then it should be very straightforward.
Geraint
Geggsy,
WinSCP is your friend (free software) and it also supports scp and sftp protocols with using ssh keys (secure).

Next week we are releasing JRTO which is a free independent plugin that allows for non-code intrusive performance improvements for js and css files.
WordPress based websites have one thing in common… each plugin is likely to add more js and css files. We have tested various plugins that combine css and js files into a single js and single css files, but we found that they are affecting the page generation as many functions are dynamically generating those files in the background when page is loaded.
Jigoshop 1.17 or later are compatible with JRTO which was rather difficult task as you can see… hopefully we won’t see any other issues with new JRTO code.
BTW: JRTO will be available for every plugin, not just jigoshop… it will be published in WordPress directory along with instruction of how to make it work with your plugin/theme…
Thanks Paul,
I think WinSCP may be very damaging to my system… an iMac 🙂
I use Transmit. At the moment I am using the system on Localhost on my iMac just to learn what it is I am doing with out risking the fabric of the www or my host. I was able to simply copy and paste the file into the folder.
Thanks for your help on this Paul
