Social Link – email address malformed

    Hi, when I fill in my sire contact email address in the social links configuration using the format “mailto:name@domain.com” it displays correctly in the config screen, but when I click on the link in an email the “@” sign has been stripped out of the mailto: address so is invalid.

    Any clues please? Great plugin by the way!!

    Hi,

    It looks to be problem with the link tracker. I am working on a fix for it now. You can also go to Settings > Advanced and check the ‘do not track mailto links’ box. This should get your mailto link working.

    appreciate your time on this. I have removed the mailto link for the time being and have manually included a mailto in the body of my emails. I will re-instate the mail icon in the social icons link once you have a working solution.
    We sent our first live mailshot today to around 400 people, everything went very smoothly. So far it is looking very good.
