Not working for Mexico

    Hi,
    I’ve tried to post some content for Mexico with the following codes:
    mx
    me
    mex
    with no results. I’ve also tried with the word MEXICO.
    However, the plugin is working right for other countries, like ES or GB.
    With the shortcode [CBC country /] the Mexican content is shown, but not only in Mexico
    Dont’t know what to do! Any suggestion?

    use this and try again
    [CBC show="y" country="mx"]your content for mexico[/CBC]
    it showld work
    have you updated the db for IPs and Countries

    normaly the CBC plugin do update automaticaly when installed.

    may be you shold reinstall the plugin.

    Thanks for your answer!
    I’ve re-uploaded the DB from IPs and Countries and now is working with ME.
    I think the right ISO code for Mexico is MX, but actually is running OK with ME.

    Hi Jorge,

    With the latest release, I have updated the database with the correct ISO country code for Mexico – this is MX

    The problem is that the source of the IP geo location data doesn’t correctly supply the 2-letter ISO country code. I’ve had to manually fix many countries each time a new version of the database is released.

    You’ll need to update your shortcodes that use ME to now use MX when you run the upgrade.
