Connecting users to businesses?

I am trying to build a website for a client that involves connecting users to businesses.

I want 2 separate landing pages for each. One for users to capture customer data, and another for businesses to upload their business data.

Is this possible in WordPress? I know basic PHP, and not much else. I can afford to get outside help, but I am curious as to whether this is even possible.

In case I am not clear, let me give an example.

Users want a pizza, they go to my site, they can login, and then see pizza places around them, and sign up for coupons, etc.

Businesses want to advertise their pizza, and they can login and post their coupons, as well as maybe menus, etc.

I signed an NDA for the site itself, so unfortunately I cannot list my exact needs, but was curious as to if this was possible to have a different site for different logins, as well as data upload capabilities for the businesses.
