Question on pdf plugins

Greetings and thank you in advance.

I am looking for some suggestions on which way to run on the following scenario:

WordPress site for archival newpapers (in .pdf form)

10 gig of archival pdfs,

1) looking for the best templates for simple menu of “by year” and “by month”.

2)looking for a search feature (plugin)that takes advantage of searchable pdf files

3) looking for a delivery method to search pdfs and display the corresponding pdf files.
