How to choose correct PayPal API type?

    Hi Angelleye!

    Your plugin looks amazing and I want to try it! I realize I need an API, but PayPal gives me two options:

    1. Grant API permissions to a third pary… etc.
    2. Request API credentials to create your own API… etc.

    Do you know which one I need?

    You should do Request API Credentials and then choose the Signature method.

    Another (quicker) way to get it done is to use this link and login with your PayPal account. I’ll just return the 3 values for you directly.

    I don’t know anything about Paypal API. Do I need it to process payments? I have the free Paypal business account.

    If you’re using our plugin then it utilizes the API to process the payments. As such, you would need to enter your API credentials into the plugin settings, but other than that you don’t need to know anything about APIs to get it working.
