    Hi,

The plugin works great, but I want to use it like an open data service, allowing guests and visitors to download – on frontend – the CSV file too. Since the roles are only for registered users, I can’t publish the link. Any ideia about this subject?

    Thank you!

    Hi Blsrds

Thanks for your message. Even if I added a guest role, you may still find that guests are unable to access the page. Dashboard pages are typically for registered and logged in users only (ie at least subscriber level). Have you solved that problem already? For instance, can you show your settings page or any other dashboard page to guests?

Another option would be to create a shortcode to expose the screens/functionality on the front end, but getting that to work would be quite time consuming.

    Best wishes

    Hi Paul,

Thank you for the fast reply. In this project, I need to show the link in the front-end. If it works for guests, great. But even for subscribers it only works on dashboard. I tried to access the link generated directly without success.

I didn’t solved this problem yet. I am thinking about any possible solution. Is there a way to generate the CSV via cron, if so maybe then copy regularly to wp-content/uploads maybe a solution.. what you thik?

    best regargs,

    Hi Adriano

Sorry, I can’t think of any simple solution. The plugin would need to be modified to make it do what you want. The plugin doesn’t currently generate CSV files via Cron. It would require quite a few changes.

    Best wishes

    Paul
