Redirects getting created when they shouldn't be..??

I’ve been using this plugin for a while now, and for the most part it works great for me.
One thing that’s been confusing, though, is that if I edit a product (WooCommerce) then a redirect rule gets added automatically even though I didn’t update the URL for the product. The redirect that gets added just sends the person to my home page when that product page gets hit, so then I have to go back in and remove the redirect for the page to load correctly again.
Any information on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
