• I’m having problems with multi-page galleries where the 2nd and subsequent pages simply don’t work.

In order to eliminate possible causes I’ve been able to create a new machine with the bare minimum to reproduce the problem.

    Centos 7

    nginx-1.6.2-4.el7.x86_64
    php-5.4.16-23.el7_0.3.x86_64
    php-fpm-5.4.16-23.el7_0.3.x86_64

talking to a remote mysql instance running version 5.1.73

    Then a vanilla wordpress

WordPress 4.1.1 running Twenty Fifteen theme.

    and lastly the only plugin

    Nextgen Gallery – Version 2.0.79

I created a single gallery and uploaded 30 images

I created a page and used the “Attach Nextgen Gallery to Post” button to add the content “[nggallery id=39]”

On viewing the page (http://example.com/mypage/ ) I see the thumbnails of the first 20 images and a

    “1 2 >”

    set of buttons.

The links of the “2” and “>” are the same and point to http://example.com/mypage/nggallery/page/2?q=/misc which results in a 404 page.

I was seeing the same issue under apache and a multisite install and had put the problem down to all the odd path rewrites, but on seeing the same under this new setup and now in a single host minimal setup decided to ask here.
