• Over the past few weeks everything that I update on my blog from my desktop is not showing up on my mobile phone or other mobile devices ios.

This includes blog posts, pictures, archive, text in widgets etc…

How can this be fixed. Not sure whats going on??

  • Try clearing the cache on your phone.

I did clear the history and cache but still no luck. Same thing happens when I use other peoples phones and go to my website.

    What’s the site?

Are you using the mobile apps?

    (@nole99)

    the site is http://24days2skinny.com

not using mobile apps just going on google app or safari on my phone.
If you compare it to a desktop version the top right widget text is still different. archive for march is not showing up on phone as well.

I get the same site on my iPhone and laptop. But I don’t see any posts for March on either one except for this one line:

    AdvoCare Compensation Plan 1

    (@nole99)

that was my lastest blog post but the url is http://24days2skinny.com/advocare-compensation-plan-2

Under recent posts it should say:
    Advocare compensation plan

at the lower bottom I added a new ad called Jane that I see on desktop but no on phone. Also contact doesn’t show up on phone for me.

and the top right circle should say Group 24 day challenge Start April 13th…

on my phone it’s an old text.

Now i’m confused that your seeing the same thing???
I cleared my cache on desktop and tried other browsers as well

Under Archives, the link goes to this page:

    http://24days2skinny.com/2015/03/

    Try resetting your permalinks.

I DO see the Jane add on both computer and phone.

Contact form shows up on both.

Group Challenge shows up on both.

Do you have caching on your site or server? Where is it hosted?

    Thread Starter nole99

    (@nole99)

hosted with ipage i have a vps hosting not sure about where the caching comes from? maybe it’s a server issue?

Yep, might be – I’ve heard iPage does use server caching, but you should check with them to be sure.

You could also try deactivating your plugins and switching to a default theme to see if that makes any difference – just to test, then switch back.

ok I just rechecked my phone and now I see everything thats on my desktop the way it is supposed to be! I have no idea what happened it’s been like this for hours. Maybe my phone cache took awhile to reset??

the only other weird thing was there were a few comments over the past few days that did show up on my phone but not on my desktop which I realized today were unread on my phone. They were Nowhere on my desktop which is what started all this. Now that everything is synced up those comments are gone from both phone and desktop?

    (@nole99)

but at least everything else is fine. Thanks for your help!

No problem – I really don’t know why those disappeared – were they spam?

    (@nole99)

no- they were legitimate comments I was going to answer-vanished!
