• I can log onto the administration oagr, but clicking on all the links produces a bank page. Thus happens whether I try to log in via WP or BlueHost.

I meant the dashboard. Stupid auto-correct.

What happens when you try to login here?

I have never had any problem logging in. It’s AFTER I log in and go to the dashboard. Everything I click on just produces a blank white page.

Had you recently updated anything like a plugin?

I have added several plug-ins but have not updated any.

I’m guessing that a plugin is causing this problem – so you will need to use FTP or Cpanel (via your hosting) to deactivate your plugins – by renaming the plugins folder to plugins.HOLD

If that fixes it, then change the name back, and then from your Dashboard, reactivate them one by one – which should find out which one is causing the problem.

I don’the have the slightest idea how to use ftp and it took me weeks to configure those plug-ins. Everything was running fine last night, and then this morning nothing. I am in the process of uncovering some Malware issues. Could that cause this?

On your site. Yes, it could definitely. What issues? Your site shows up okay here:

Although that’s not 100% accurate – no scanner is.

Malwarebytes found and quarantined over 100 fies. I have Norton running a clean-up right now. Yes, the site itself shows up. It’s just that I can’t get to the dashboard to do anything with it. I’ve begun to wonder if the problem lies with my PC.

I don’t think your desktop having malware would cause white pages with your WordPress Dashboard. But almost anything is possible when it comes to malware.

The work you have done configuring your plugins should not be lost. This information is stored in your database as long a you do not delete the plugin. Pausing or disabling a plugin will maintain your settings.

Here is and introduction to FTP: https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients There are a lot of tutorials available for the popular FTP software. FTP is one of a few basic tools needed to maintain WordPress sites.

There are plenty of folks to help if your have questions about using FTP.

Well, I just discovered that everything works just fine when I use my friend’s tabLet. So the fault must lie with my laptop after all. Thank you for your time.

Good news! Come back and post if things change.

You may want to change all your passwords after you get your laptop cleaned up. Sometime workstation viruses will harvest any passwords it can get .
