Problems with password encoding after moving WP to new server

Hello,

I’m in the middle of moving my WP installation to a new server. I uploaded the files, then created a new database and imported the data from the old one. I punched in the new user name, password, and database name into wp-config.php. When I attempt to have the password encoded, WP doesn’t connect to the new database. However, when I leave the password in a “normal” form, everything is working fine.

I would like to keep the password encoded for security reasons. How can I make this happen?
