thumbnail size issues

This looked great on our development site, but when we went live the thumbnails keep reverting to full size. I’ve tried turning the plugin off and on, resaving, changing file sizes, clearing cache and everything I can think of and nothing works. The thumbnails are huge and I had to turn them off.
Is there a fix for this?
