Exactly what is happening with mine.
I had this issue ages ago in a MVC bootstrap website and it was something to do with the class order I was calling in, I can’t quite remember. But it was something that in this instance should be handled by the theme.
spazza, did you actually resolve this? if not can you please unresolve(if possible)
I am having the same issue with the menu on mobile devices. Any solutions?
It’s an issue with the javascript calls for bootstrap navbars, minamaze is using a really old version of bootstrap and have not updated.
The issue your experiencing is not caused by the theme itself. Certainly not by the version of bootstrap we include as the version included only has a very small number of features from the bootstrap library and has also been customised.
Please can you ensure you’ve checked your site for plugin conflicts and conflicts with any other 3rd party code.
Please let us know how you get on and we’ll be happy to help further.
All plugins turned off and removed, blank site with no extra code, menu did not work with symptoms as described above.
I came across the same behaviour when I did a manual bootstrap mvc site previously and was a javascript function call, so something is going a bit squiffy here.
Tested under IE 11, Chrome (latest stable).
Installed and tested 3 other themes, all functioned fine.
can you verify that you are (or are not) using bootstrap navbar calls for the collapsable menu?
Sliopch,
Bootstrap will not be the issue. It’s a red herring if you think that’s the cause of the problem. The menu isn’t controlled solely by Bootstrap. It simply uses the jQuery aspect to add the open close class. Everything else is custom code.
Please can you send us a link to your website. Also what device are you using? If there’s a problem with the theme itself then it’ll show on your site on both desktop and mobile mode. Otherwise it’ll be caused by something else.
Thanks.
Also Slipoch,
