Menu does not display

I am a newbie at this, so I’m sure I’m making some silly mistake. I am attempting to responsive menu v2.4 and am having trouble getting the menu to display. The break points appear to be working correctly and the responsive menu icon shows in the upper left corner of my site. get_header() and get_footer() are both being called. I use the menu by doing a <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[responsive-menu RM=”main”]’); ?>’, where “main” is the name of the menu to be shown. It just does seem to respond to clicks on the icon.
