customizing global settings

    Since the last update, I am having trouble with customizing global settings. It allows one small change – for example, one letter in title or tag or one font change. Then it becomes unresponsive, not allowing me to complete changes I have started.

    Maybe try re-installing the parent Theme again? May be you’ve lost/corrupted a core file.

    Thank you for your response. I suspected lost/corrupted file. Please excuse my ignorance, but just what is involved in re-installing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    BTW last week prior to this current update, I had deactivated woo commerce plug-in. Could this have caused the trouble with the theme?

    I went ahead with the re-install. I am still experiencing the same problem in customizing in global settings. I’m thinking now the problem was in the recent update for the theme? Hopefully it gets straightened out.

    Any further help is greatly appreciated.
