@asplash,
try first the new Beta version, download here
See if that makes a difference.
What languages are active?
Hi,
I am using the new Beta version Version 3.2.9.5 and languages, English, Welsh and Spanish – though I will not be using Spanish when the site is live – just to check if this is an issue with Welsh only.

@asplash,
what is the code for that Welsh language?
In Settings – Languages then Choose edit in Languages and look at Locale = (en_US for English)
Hi,
Sorry for the delay the language code is Locale = cy_CY I have also treid Locale = cy but makes no difference. The whole site translates to Welsh including for example the ‘Edit Page’ link, but the word ‘Language’ on the menu is not translated.
Thank you for helping with this.

Hello Jane,
In the qTranslate’s plugin folder is a folder named lang.
You see there all available languages for qTranslate. .po and .mo files.
You can see there is no language file qtranslate-cy_CY.po and qtranslate-cy_CY.mo using the Welsh language.
You could create this translation files with PoEdit (see here) and make your translations for qTranslate in Welsh.
If you then later send this to us we can take this also as a standard in the qTranslate plugin.
Hi,
I do have those two files, I have used them previously with qTranslate, but please can you tell me the line where I need to edit the word Language: for the menu – my file only seems to have Languages not Language.
Creating a new file is beyond me – especially since I do not speak Welsh!
Kindest Regards, Jane
Iaith is correct, I have sent the two files by email.
Many thanks, Jane
