Hmm, I wonder if this has to do with polylang, I can’t recreate.
Can you check your string translations?
also what is in your page title area on front page?

Well i had some isues after updating polylang with permalinks but I manage to fix it… String translations is good… Don’t change anything .. and after pinnacle update titles get double
Here is example Dainava hotel – title .. subtitle – and title again…
Then page name asd title title …
It is in all pages …

P.S. I read that some people use seo by youst … or othes seo booster and this is sometimes comes up … I’m not using these plugins…
oh, that title. The theme uses the the new wordpress standard wp_render_title_tag. Just install yoast or any SEO plugin to set those.
I have the same problem following the update (see for example http://www.thealperts.org/southern-africa-overland/)
I’d rather not have to install another plugin, is there another way to not duplicate the blog title in the page title?

I’ll put out an update soon to check for this double title in the meta title. But I highly recommend using an SEO plugin, it’s a plugin that is necessary if you want to have an effectively optimized site because themes on wordpress.org are not allowed to add all the SEO metadata that is best for a site, its considered plugin territory by wordpress.org review team.
