@mitchellklijs – OK, good. Where are you trying to sort the images? Do you have any specific sort order set under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options?

The option under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options is set to “Modified”. I try to set the sorting order for one gallery only on its gallery page in the admin.
@mitchellklijs – When you set a specific sort order under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options you will have to sort the displayed gallery images using the IGW and its Sort/Exclude panel for that specific display if you want a different order than the “default” you have set.

In that case, is it possible to leave the sort order under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options unset?
@mitchellklijs – You can set it back to Custom and Ascending (the default) and the individual gallery sorting options will return .. otherwise you should be able to use the Reset Option to put everything back to the defaults as far as the settings go.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t solve the problem.
The images are beiing sorted, but in a completly wrong order. As I said in the first post. The Date/Time option sorts them on Date/Time uploaded instead of Date/Time taken.
@mitchellklijs – All I can offer at this time is for you to send us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a closer look at what might be going on.
We will likely need login and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with your Bug Report, too.

Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to give any FTP credentials, whilst it is a website in production.
