automatic Backup is not working anymore

    Hi i am using Updraft now for over 1 year and always everything was okay.
    Since 2 Months the automatic backup stopped working. Webspace was filled with 80Gb so i started to delete and then suddenly it starts working again.

    Since 1 week the backup is starting but never finishing it is starting over and over again.
    I deleted more backups so now there is 2,3Gb space filled with backups., bit it still has some kind of time out problem i think.

    I am using dropbox as external storage.

    I hope that you can help me with that problem, please let me know how to proceed.

    Hi,

    Please can you provide a link to your log file for the problematic backup? (You can download it from the “Existing Backups” tab of your UpdraftPlus settings page).

    It’ll be too long to paste into the forum here, but you can download it to your computer, and share it with Dropbox, or paste it in pastebin.com, or any similar service, and post the link here.

    Hi,

    Thanks. It looks like the webserver doesn’t provide enough resources to create larger zip files. To work around this, do this:

    1) Go to the UD ‘Settings’ tab

    2) Scroll to the bottom, and open the ‘expert’ section using the link there

    3) Change the ‘split’ size down to 75Mb

    4) Save settings

    Then, start a fresh backup.
