Thanks. I did this with my site and it does show up with no image. Any idea how to fix this please?
I believe the Yoast SEO plugin gives you full control over the opengraph data and which image to show (if that helps)
Thanks so much – i will give it a try!
Hi there
I tried this but it hasn’t made any difference! any other ideas! Or am I doing it wrong?
Many thanks
what page are you trying to share? Do you have a link?
If you do add the Yoast plugin, you need to go into the page you are trying to share and adding an image to the “Facebook Image” section…
I thought I had done that but maybe I got it wrong.
This is the link!

I can’t see any indication of an opengraph image in your source code.
Did you edit the image of your homepage? As in opened the homepage and edited the facebook image?
er… no I am not sure how to do that. I followed the Yoast installer thing.
Sorry i am rubbish aren’t I?!
Ok, open the page in your dashboard called “home”, do you actually have a page called “home”?
If not, then we might struggle a bit here…
Ok, when you go to “appearance >> editor” in wordpress (dont change anything yet) – do you have one file on the right hand side list called “home.php”?
Also, when you go to “SEO >> social” do you have the “Add open graph meta data” checked? If not, check it and add the details in there, see if that helps
No there is one called Front Page Template but no home.php
I had checked the add open graph meta data.
Thanks
Ok, so I am presuming you uploaded an image to the section just below the tick box saying “default settings”
yes i did. is that wrong?
