• Hi there

Thanks for the great work with this plugin.

I’m testing it right now and it’s doing everything that I need it for. However, even with the capacity of a service set to “4”, I can only book it once with a test user.

Is there something that I’m not understanding correctly regarding the use of the capacity option?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey there distantglo,

    Hope you’re well today!

Capacity option is just allowing you to share the same resources for the specific service. Example of that would be having a haircut salon with two available positions where you can do the service. This is where you use capacity 2 so users can make an appointment in the same time for the same service.

This will not work if you do not have two service providers available for the same service. This is made like that so you can’t make the appointment with the same service provider for the same service at the same time even if you have capacity set to 2.

    Hope this makes sense 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi Bojan

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Here’s my situation:
I would like to allow customers to book a personal training session through my website. I can take up to 4 clients per 1-hour slot in a group personal training session.

How should I go about doing that? From what I understand I would have to create another 3 users to act as service providers, am I correct?

Thank you for your assistance! Have a lovely day.

    Hey again distantglo,

In the current version of the plugin effective capacity of the service is directly related to the number of available service providers so the answer to your question is yes.

Since you’re available for up to 4 clients per session you could use dummy service providers for yourself http://screencast.com/t/zNZeZgEeDxNc.

You can forward appointments from your dummy service providers to specific user in Appointments -> Settings -> General by selecting a user next to “Assign dummy service providers to” http://screencast.com/t/H7z6wO2FSa. Forwarding dummy service providers is also limited to a single user so in case you want to forward dummy providers to two different users you’ll not be able to, you can only forward as many dummy provider to one specific provider.

Hope this makes sense, have a great day as well 🙂

    Cheers,
    Bojan
