Thanks for using Tracks!
Could you link me to an example?
Sure, on a phone, try tapping on and then going all the way through the photos on this page, then tap above a photo to return to the site. Then try the mobile menus. It might take a few times. I’ve had it happen on chrome and safari on iPhone 5, haven’t tested other phones. Haven’t launched this site yet: http://www.thedaddynamic.com/photography/street-photography-denver-rino/
Thank you for Tracks! I’m a paying member š
Okay I was able to recreate the issue. Since this bug is only occurring with the use of the Jetpack Carousel, I believe the issue is coming from the plugin and not Tracks.
I think it would be best to post a support thread on their plugin’s forum. Let them know that after using the lightbox on mobile, certain click events aren’t firing.
Hi Ben!
I work on the Jetpack team, and looked into the issue following Ethan’s report here. While I haven’t found what exactly is causing the problem, we may have a solution.
Could you check my post and let me know what you think?
Thanks!
Thanks for following up, that is really strange. I added the vendor prefixes and it fixed the issue.
Jquery has been auto-prefixing CSS3 properties since 1.8 and Ethan’s site has been running 1.11, so I’m not sure why this is the case.
Please let me know any insight you get into the cause of the issue.
Thanks Jeremy and Ben. Ben – will this come out in a Tracks update?
Yea I’m going to add this to an update to keep the navigation more reliable in the future. Since it needs to go through a review process here on wordpress.org, it will be a few days before it is available for download.
Please let me know any insight you get into the cause of the issue.
We’re still trying to understand why that happens, but I’ll let you know if we find something, and if we manage to fix it in Carousel as well!
