List of older posts

    I am currently sending a newsletter every week, when there is something new. I would love to be able to have a detailed area with the new posts and then at the end a short list with “more recent posts” which contains a list of 5 older posts.

    I can add a list of posts in an automated newsletter, but after the first newsletter, this list is always empty, because these posts have already been send.

    Hope you know what I mean. In short:
    – Detailed Area (with featured image, extract, etc.) of new posts (currently no problem here)
    – Short list of 5 posts older then the posts listed in the detailes area. No matter of those posts have already been send before.

    You can only do that with the normal WordPress Posts widget and manually select the posts you want to include. We try to avoid that “feature” to prevent some users from spamming their subscribers.
