After locking myself out of my own site trying to change my wordpress/site URL. I followed instruction I found on http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL I hard-coded my url http://www.point2living.com into the site itself through wp-config.php.

I managed to get myself back into my site but now Some of my plugins seems to be corrupting my visual editor. The plugins I cannot activate (otherwise my editor for my posts cannot be found. I see only title and featured image).

The blogs are still showing on the front end but not on editor.
Plugins not compatible include: Jetpack, gocodes, and feedweb. I desperately need my gocodes plugin otherwise many of my outbound links won’t work!

Please help. I am not a programmer so would appreciate simple language.

Try using a different method to change those back – I think the functions file method works well.

Actually, before you do that, try clearing your caching plugin.

Is it reversible? It says I can also set them through FTP file but I have no idea how to do this. I am NOT a programmer!

I cleared my caching plugin. Problem is still there :/

I’d suggest taking those lines out of the wp-config file and using this method:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL#Edit_functions.php

Then you should be able to change them under Settings > General and see if that fixes the problems with your site.

If not, rename the plugins folder on the server to plugins.HOLD for a few minutes. Then change it back and see if your plugins work again.
