Adding background image to sections

    Hi,

    I am attempting to add a background image into a section that will sit behind my text.

    I thought I could use the HTML code:

    <html>
    <body background=”mybackgroundimage.png”>
    <h1>heading</h1>
    <p>texttexttexttexttexttext</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    but this code simply get stripped out.

    I have tried using the set Section Background Image option but when I do this my section get a colour as the background even though the Set Background colour option is empty

    As I’m new to WP, I appreciate the assistance.
