ALL post dates not displaying

    None of the post dates are displaying anywhere – not on the individual post page, not on the post snippet in the sidebar, not on the homepage which features a category of posts.

    The dates were there, but somehow disappeared. They are still in the post data but the post doesn’t show the date.

    I’m using a child theme based on Workaholic. This is what I’ve tried so far:

    • Disabled the plugins, one by one.
    • Activated a different theme – tried both 2012 and 2015 and neither of these themes displayed a date either.
    • Reinstalled WordPress 4.1.1
    • Tried every date and time format in settings

    Nothing works. It doesn’t really make sense because I haven’t altered code – it’s perplexing that even moving to a new theme doesn’t display the dates.

    I cannot figure out what caused this, when exactly it happened or how to fix it. The only odd thing I did was to change the language to English UK. I’ve changed that back to English US.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    please check with the developer of your theme – http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products

    does the same happen if you switch back to the parent theme?

    alchymyth – Since I tried themes that WordPress provides (Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Twelve) and the date doesn’t work it seems it’s not a theme issue. Just to make sure I just tried it with the parent Workaholic theme – still no dates.

    My post dates still aren’t displaying. It’s not the theme because when I change to a different WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Twelve) the problem persists.

    I would really like some help with this – website is http://shuktara.org

    The first page is created from posts – all of those images link to an individual post page where dates are not displaying on the individual post nor on the post snippets in the sidebar.
