Jetpack Recent Posts (from another blog in network)

Hi all!

I’m running the Jetpack Recent Posts widget which allows posts from another blog within the same network to be shown. It seems to work around 30% of the time and rest of the time it just leaves me with a message:

“We cannot load blog data at this time.”

I know this is known issue but after extensive searching on this site and others it shows a fix via a commit should have fixed this issue over a year ago?

Does anyone know if there is a fix or if there is a known plugin clash or…?
