Hi!
This is unfortunately not possible, because clicking on a link will always refresh the actual page.
I think you are looking for an ajax page loader plugin which automatically attaches to each link on the actual page and prevents this behavior. Although it might require some tweaking, because the ajax page loader would have to attach events on the results list, which is also loaded dynamically with ajax.
In the pro version I have implemented partial compatibility with the Advanced Ajax Page loader plugin, which works like this: http://i.imgur.com/sfV5idO.gif
The limitation is, that the search bar can’t be placed in the content (post content, page content) only on the sidebar or header/footer, or else it will not work correctly.
Thank You! That was great info. I am considering upgrading to the pro version. I will contact you when ready.
Thanks for your support! 🙂
Hey. It’s probably something incredible obvious but I installed the Ajax search-lite but the search bar won’t find any results when I type in it.
I tried the page titles I knew was on my site, tried every letter in the alphabet and tried fiddling with the settings. Nothing seemed to work.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me. http://www.luminousexpressions.org
Thanks
