Displaying Map

I can successfully get the map to display using eo_get_venue_map() but I am wanting to use jquerys slideToggle function on the maps div and hide it when the browser loads the page. The problem is that when the slideToggle function is called and the map is displayed, it does not display correctly. I think I somehow need to reload the map at the same time but not sure how I can do that?
