Hello,
Have you added their IP to the whitelist under Other Options? That would allow the IP to circumvent whatever rule is blocking it.

Hope that helps,
Brian
OK, gave that a try … though I dealt with the customer over the phone to take his order, so there’s no way to confirm it’s working now … AND I’m seeing several other IP addresses being blocked from Kansas and NY that seem like they could be customers trying to process orders, too. (Several blocks for the same IP an hour apart.)
There are *also* a number of blocks coming from China and Russia, so I’m not eager to simply disable Wordfence … but I think I need a clearer understanding about what could be tripping the alarms here so that I can make sure my customers can get through and only block trouble.
Any thoughts?
Can you screenshot your firewall rules and paste a link to the image here?

I replied to the email … but just in case, here’s a web link to the Firewall Rules:

You’re kind of hard on humans in that aren’t you? Also very lenient with anyone else, crawler or human.
This is what I use for some of my production sites:

The thing that I wonder about is that you outright block instead of throttle which slows it down a little if someone is in a hurry but doesn’t stop them from visiting the site. I know sometimes when I’m buying on amazon, I can click pretty fast if I know what I want. Try setting it to the settings I have above and let me know how it looks.

FWIW, I don’t remember making *any* adjustments or settings in this section (in fact, it took me several minutes to even find it so that I could send you the image of what is there), so whatever is there has been there since the plugin was installed and are, at least mostly, the default settings that come with the package.
Thanks for the suggested changes. I’ll see if that helps (though it’s so long after the problem was posted, that customer’s issue is long ago solved otherwise/other ways).
