Good point – thank you. We will take a look into that.
Hi @peraburek, there were a few changes in this regard in the development version. Do you mind to test the latest version from GitHub, which you can download with ‘Download ZIP’ button on GitHub page or press here for the sake of convinience?
@john Clause – it WORKS now 🙂
With the version you gave me the link (qTranslate-X Version 3.2.8) it works!
With qTranslate-X Version 3.2.7 (still official at the moment 18th of March 2015) it doesn’t add trailing slash in language chooser widget
I can send your link to my website, so you can check it out if you want, is there some way to send PM on this forum
THANK YOU for your support 🙂
@john Clause – it doesn’t work anymore
it seems since last few versions you have changed something, and now language chooser (qtranslate X widget) doesn’t add trailing slash
even I have selected “Hide URL language information for default language.” in the settings, URL language information ARE shown in language chooser widget, on each and every page 🙁
could you please help me, I don’t think it should be like this
it use to be just fine

Version 3.2.9 is good right?
no it is not good 🙁
Croatian, (HR) is default language, and there should be no in widget
anyway, both Croatian and English are missing trailing slash!
one more thing I have noticed, it redirects to English version, even I have NOT enabled “Detect the language of the browser and redirect accordingly.” – box is UNchecked

Delete cache and cookies to approach clean the site.
Here I get Croatian as the default language.
In my installed version 3.2.9 there is a trailing slash
Try the latest beta version 3.2.9.9.4
Download it here
there is trailing slash now with beta version 3.2.9.9.4
“Hide URL language information for default language.” box checked
still /hr/ is shown in the widget (it shouldn’t be)
cache and cookies deleted, I have tested from another computer (Remotely) as well, result is the same
one issue is resolved in this beta (widget link trailing slash)
one issue still remains (default language should NOT be shown, when box is checked)
you can see default language is NOT shown in menus, but it is shown in the widget

This I do not understand
If I visit your site I get this in my address bar
yoursite.com without /hr
but it is shown in the widget
href="http://yoursite.com/hr/"
This is normal
why should default langage code be shown in widget, when it is NOT shown on website
it wasn’t like this before, could you please make option to choose if user wants default language code in widget link or not
I can not remember exactly, maybe 3-4 versions before

I can not imagine that it was so, but maybe I’m wrong.
But what is the advantage of this?
