Custom post type slug same as category name?

    Hi all,

    Does anybody know how WordPress handles the following:

    I have created a custom post type, with the slug ‘tournament’. If I’m not mistaken, the archive page for this custom post type will therefore be set to http://www.mysite.com/tournament. I guess this page will be accessible as soon as I have created and published a post of this custom type (right?).

    However, I’m also using a category for my normal posts, named ‘tournament’, which means that when I visit http://www.mysite.com/tournament, I can view all normal posts in this category. I have confirmed that currently, this is the case.

    So… what will happen when I publish my first post of custom post type ‘tournament’? I really have no idea. Please, somebody enlighten me. You have my thanks!
