Collection Lister?

Is there a simple way to be able to have users add their DVD / Blu-ray collections, and then have that information viewable by other users?

Ideally I’d like to start by creating a database of titles, with information on cast, director, year etc, and a pic of the cover.

Any advice would be appreciated.
