My General Settings http://awesomescreenshot.com/0ed4km8fc8 site title is empty and whatever I put there, when I press “Save Changes” it remains empty?!

how are the settings under languages?

What is the standard language in both the plugin as with WordPress?

The default language is English.

Please set first Permalinks to Post Name and under Language settings to Pre-Path Mode.

Fill in the data for the default language under General Settings and the other languages and save.

See if this works.

Oops…

deactivate temporarily all other plugins except qTranslate and see if it then works.

I don’t know how, but deactivating all plugins, then activating them all one by one did the trick and now it’s working.

Sorry to say it, but it happen again, I think it’s Jetpack conflict!!!

Known Issues

When Jetpack by WordPress.com is enabled, pressing ‘Save Changes’ at Settings/General (/wp-admin/options-general.php) page, causes fields “Site Title” and “Tagline” to be emptied, if they had multilingual values. It only happens when Jetpack is connected to WordPress. For now, when you need to edit those values, deactivate Jetpack, make your edits, then re-activate JetPack again. Fortunately, that general setting page need not to be changed frequently.
