"Invalid nonce." error for everything

    My multisite installation worked fine earlier, but now I get a WordPress error called “Invalid nonce.” when I want to edit a project or make other changes – on all of the sites.

    Can anyone help me out, please?

    Did you install a plugin recently? I would disable all plugins to see if that fixes the problem.

    yes, i intalled several plugins.

    but i cannot even deactivate any plugin – i get “Invalid nonce.” error when i try it…

    should i try to delete the plugins from the server?

    Do not delete the plugins directory. Simply rename it. For example name it from ‘plugins’ to ‘plugins.bak’

    It is possible that the theme could do the same thing. But try renaming the plugins directory first.

    WOW. Apparently that worked. Thank you very much.

    I didn’t change the name of the directory, but just the name of the last plugin I installed – that was enough to make it Work Again.
